Director, Business Development

Sherri Green

At LM&O Sherri leads our Business Development Team where she oversees the success and growth of our existing accounts and identifies companies and/or organizations that can benefit from our advertising skills and services. Sherri follows the philosophy that the best advertising is developed when the Client and agency work together to achieve a common goal. The Business Development team strives to form lasting relationships with our Clients and potential Clients and always looks to work with people who will see us as partners in their success.

Sherri has helped many Clients achieve their goals, including Chevy Chase Bank, AARP Pharmacy Service, Jordan Tourism, National Guard, Virginia Department of Health, Verizon and Discover Languages. Her efforts have helped to increased leads, sales, and deposits and have also gained national press coverage.

Prior to joining LM&O, Sherri worked for Congressman Nathan Deal where she focused her efforts on Telecommunications, Consumer Protection and Science issues. Prior to her work for the United States Congress, Sherri traveled the country as a leadership consultant for Delta Gamma. Sherri has a BS in Advertising and Consumer Economics from The University of Georgia and is a graduate of the AAAA Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies.


Director, Interactive Marketing

Karen Laughlin

Karen helps grow the Clients' accounts through the use of Internet Strategy and Media Planning. Karen and her team have a proven track record in surpassing ROI-driven marketing goals through online advertising, search marketing and the use of emerging technology.

After graduating from the University of Richmond, Karen began her career in a statistics and research position at a Washington DC area trade association. From there Karen moved on to helped Rent Net, a small internet start-up, grow into a major real estate and moving-related services company called The Move.com Network.


Director, Media

Cindy Epley

Cindy brings a wealth of both agency and corporate media management experience. At LM&O, Cindy has successfully created and implemented multi-media campaigns, utilizing both traditional and new media channels, to drive awareness, generate leads, and increase sales on behalf of Clients from the public, private, and non-profit arenas.

Prior to joining LM&O, Cindy served as VP/Associate Media Director at Eisner Communications in Baltimore where she directed media planning and buying for Morgan State University, Spirit Airlines, Provident Bank, Maryland State Lottery and CSX Transportation. Cindy spent a significant portion of her agency career at McCann-Erickson managing day-to-day media plan development and execution for US Airways. Cindy has also worked on the Client side managing integrated media programs for both Capital One and MCI WorldCom.


Director, Multicultural Marketing

Favio Martinez

Favio is charged with launching highly targeted niche marketing efforts. Favio and his team work to help Clients enhance their overall marketing communications efforts by connecting with distinct consumer segments in a culturally relevant manner to grow trial, awareness and loyalty.

With a Masters in International Management, Favio launched his career with global media powerhouse, Discovery Communications, Inc. There he created and implemented successful marketing programs for the international ad sales teams and helped champion the company's first global segmentation study aimed at bringing more powerful consumer insight-based brand positioning to their portfolio of networks. In 2003, Favio launched Viona Group, LLC, a Washington, DC area marketing consultancy geared toward helping Clients develop brand experiential events.


Director, Direct Marketing

Andrew Hogan

At LM&O, Andrew and his team manage all direct marketing programs. They guide the overall strategy including list selection, package tests, results analysis and program implementation.

Andrew has over 15 years experience in all aspects of direct marketing including lead generation, fundraising, email marketing, telemarketing, acknowledgements, and fulfillment. His past experience includes managing national fundraising accounts for Habitat for Humanity, Christian Children's Fund, Volunteers of America and the National Parks and Conservation Association.


Director, Creative

Mike Caplanis

Mike is a 28 year veteran of the advertising industry and a winner of every major award the industry offers except a Clio. His experience was earned with work for Ikea, Geico, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, Fresh Fields, Fokker Aircraft, Paramount Pictures, PowerBar, Holiday Inn Crown Plaza, Hawthorn Suites and many, many others.

He began his professional life as an editorial illustrator after earning a BFA in painting from Virginia Commonwealth University, and still does work for publications such as Broadcast & Cable Magazine, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, American History Magazine, and Civil War Times.


Director, Research

Lee Miller Munford

Lee develops strategic research designed to test advertising concepts and branding strategies. Well versed in both qualitative and quantitative formats, Lee has developed insightful focus groups, mall intercepts, ethnographic studies, in-depth interviews, and online surveys for several LM&O Clients.

Lee's vast background in magazine editorial, public relations and university level instruction contributes to her unique position here at LM&O. Her expertise in research design and trend analysis was gained as a graduate student and research instructor in the School of Journalism at the University of Missouri.


Director, Print Production

Dirk Cassard

At LM&O, Dirk supervises all aspects of print production on all agency accounts and manages all outside vendors.

Dirk previously worked as Vice President of Print Production at Earle Palmer Brown on the Maryland Department of Tourism account where he handled all the print production needs, including multiple pieces of collateral work. Dirk's Client list also includes the U.S. Mint, USAir, Roy Rogers Restaurants, National Geographic Society, Mobil, and Sheraton Hotels.


Finance

Sharon Cunningham

Between media buys, vendor contracts, campaign budgets and a wide variety of other expenses associated with advertising campaigns, our Clients rely on the efficiency and accuracy of our Finance Department, headed by Sharon Cunningham.

Our Finance team ensures that all projects are completed on-budget and on-time with proper invoices and reconciliation according to our Clients' specifications. We pride ourselves on maintaining 100% accuracy in billings.


Director, Traffic

Jennifer Lennon

At LM&O, Jennifer manages the entire traffic department and oversees the flow of all projects from broadcast to print, ensuring each creative element is provided to printers or media outlets right and on time.

Before joining LM&O, Jennifer was the Advertising Traffic Manager for Belk Department Stores, in Charlotte, NC. At Belk, Jennifer was responsible for scheduling all newspaper and magazine advertising for 200 markets weekly and overseeing the production of all print collateral. She was also in charge of with maintaining the flow of each advertising job from implementation of request, layout, proofing, editing and resizing, to senior management approval and release.
