Well, this is exciting.
For the sixth year in a row, the Interactive Media Council (IMC) has recognized LMO as “Best in Class” in the Interactive Media Awards (IMAs) competition. As if that wasn’t enough, this year we received not one, but two “Best in Class” awards in the Nonprofit category for our work with the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) on their website redesign and their 2014 annual letter microsite.
Our work was judged based on five criteria: design, content, feature functionality, usability, and standards compliance. In order to win “Best in Class”, both sites had to meet strict guidelines in each area — an achievement only a fraction of sites in the IMA competition earn each quarter.
These projects were truly a team effort, requiring collaboration between our account management, project management, user experience and engineering teams in order to bring a vision to life. With a clear understanding of MOAA’s goals, we approached each project strategically to ensure the proper audiences were reached.
What were the results?
- MOAA’s website redesign produced a new, well organized, responsive website that promotes the organization’s services and benefits and allows for more effective content creation and distribution.
- The unique “storytelling” approach that we formulated for MOAA’s 2014 Annual Letter Microsite contained engaging and informative content, resulting in an average Time on Site of 4 minutes and 38 seconds.
We are extremely honored and proud to be recognized by the IMC and look forward to many more years of executing effective and creative work for our clients that achieves goals and exceeds industry standards.
