ARLINGTON, Virginia, March 28 – LMO, a full-service marketing communications agency, once again demonstrated how its competitive creative and innovative technology services are top in the industry. LMO took home five awards at ADCHELLA: The 2017 American Advertising Federation (AAF) DC ADDY Competition across the following categories: consumer website, B2B website and cross-platform integrated campaign.
Three Gold and one Silver award will find a home on the LMO shelves, as well as a “Best in Category” for Interactive. This is the agency’s first ever “Best of Category” acknowledgment.

What was most notable among the agency’s awarded work and respective clients were the distinct qualities of challenger brands. Each had their own story in their own category, but perhaps the most obvious was podcast provider, Panoply Media. The campaign, RevisionistHistory.com, based on Malcom Gladwell’s new podcast, “Revisionist History,” was developed to create an interactive experience for a traditionally audio-exclusive medium. The underdog was not only the provider, but also the media type. It was LMO’s website for Panoply’s “Revisionist History” that took home “Best of Interactive.”
LMO’s other awarded work includes responsive website design for The Maple Guild, a Vermont-based organic maple manufacturer trying to redefine the maple category and Nutshell, a B2B CRM software company in Ann Arbor, Michigan. These brands may not yet have the brand recognition of an Aunt Jemima or Salesforce, but they have the heart and the talent, which is what drives the agency to churn out award-winning work.
The wins leave the agency re-energized, with a much-deserved competitive recognition in the DC ad community.
