We currently have an exciting opportunity for a smart, motivated Junior Content Specialist in our Arlington, Virginia location. This is a full-time position, in our Public Relations department requires candidates to have one to three years experience.

About Us and the Jr. Content Specialist Position:
As our Jr. Content Specialist, you possess the ability to develop both comprehensive technical and dynamic marketing content, providing writing support to all clients in LMO’s Building Industry Practice Group with the opportunity to lead several projects -- providing the vision and strategy. Your days would be spent doing everything related to writing and content development: researching, interviewing, writing, editing, proofreading, revising, discussing materials internally, discussing materials with clients, etc. Regular deliverables include blog posts, customer newsletters, case studies, white papers, educational programs, webinars and feature stories/commentaries. The position would have direct client contact with assigned agency clients.
You think both about the details and the big picture. We need someone who will produce well-written, error-free materials... but also someone who can think about the purpose and efficacy of those materials.
You are a top-notch communicator.
You are curious about the world around you, and always seek to better understand it.
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Writing, English, Journalism, or another related field of study.
You have 1 to 3 years of technical writing experience -- enough that you're beyond entry-level, but are not yet mid-career.
You relish the opportunity to work with technical material -- you'll be writing about products, technologies and the building industry.
You have experience in an agency setting or are curious to gain such experience.
You are familiar with AP Style or can learn quickly.
You have a keen eye and stellar proofreading skills.
You want to work as part of a tight-knit team.
You take initiative and are a motivated, self-starter.
You can work collaboratively on a team and program manage assignments from start to finish.
