Nichiha USA Case Study

Expanding Awareness Through Content and Connection

Objective
Position Nichiha USA as a trusted leader and innovator in fiber cement cladding and architectural wall systems. Goals included:

  • Increase visibility and brand credibility among specifiers, architects, builders, and developers.

  • Educate target audiences about the technical and design advantages of Nichiha’s products.

  • Expand earned media coverage in key verticals to strengthen thought leadership.

  • Support sales engagement and lead generation with new content assets and event exposure

Challenge
Differentiate a growing building products brand in a competitive cladding market.

Nichiha USA, a manufacturer of premium fiber cement cladding and architectural wall panels, sought to expand awareness and market share among specifiers and end users. While the brand had earned respect for product quality and versatility, it was difficult to stand out in a crowded market and communicate value to commercial and residential audiences.

To grow in new channel segments, Nichiha needed stronger thought leadership, refreshed collateral, and a more strategic presence in both industry and consumer media.

Solution
LMO partnered with Nichiha to build an integrated media relations and content program designed to elevate visibility, strengthen credibility, and generate engagement.

Our approach combined strategic media outreach, technical content creation, and tradeshow optimization, with messaging tailored for both commercial and residential segments. We leveraged established relationships with industry publications and home designers to secure earned placements featuring successful project applications, expert commentary, and product innovation.

We interviewed Nichiha subject matter experts, customers, and architects to develop compelling case studies, white papers, blogs, and articles exploring:

  • Durability and resilience in fiber cement applications.

  • Best practices and technical advantages of the Nichiha clip system.

  • Moisture management through Nichiha’s AAMA-approved rainscreen system.

  • The diverse range of textures, colors, finishes, and profiles available to meet modern architectural demands.

At major industry events, LMO coordinated press kits, client media interviews, and provided on-site editorial support to increase Nichiha’s visibility with key decision-makers and influencers.
